How to know the real God

'Everyone the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never cast out.'
John 6:37

Dear God in heaven, please help us to understand what this means. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Hello, my name is Dominic. I am a Christian. What is a Christian? I will tell you. A Christian is someone who simply believes this - Jesus Christ has died for their sins, was buried and rose to life again on the third day. A Christian is someone who is hoping on Jesus Christ to forgive them of their sins, not on the basis of his/her own works or efforts but on the fact that Jesus Christ did in fact die on the cross for their sins. All sins are paid for.

In the verse, we see above, is a promise from the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ promised us that whoever would come to Him, He would not, He would NEVER cast out.

Surely, some out there believe that "I am not worthy" and "I am not good enough". Listen!. Just come to Jesus and believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Jesus has paid the price and Jesus said "It is finished"

When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished.” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. John 19:30 MEV

Believe in Jesus Christ. That is it. Cry out to God and tell God your sins and ask God for forgiveness. Come to Jesus in this way. Saying "Have mercy upon my soul O God" and feel the pain and hurt of this sins but know that Jesus Christ took your sins upon Himself and took God's judgment that you and I and we all deserve and paid our price. This is the good news.

You don't have to hold on to the burden anymore.

You don't have to feel lonely and depressed anymore.

You don't have to feel "abandoned" anymore because God has promised this.

I will never leave you, nor forsake you - Hebrews 13:5

Look up to the sky. See Your God who made you is watching over You. God loves you my friend. There is no one else who loves you this way. The best kind of love that we need. Unconditional, Holy, Sweet, Forever Love, God loves you. I can't get any better than this love. God proved He loves you by sending Himself to die on the cross for you. Jesus is God who died for you.

'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were created through Him, and without Him nothing was created that was created. ' John 1:1-3

This "Word" being talked about is Jesus Christ.

'The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as the only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.' John 1:14

Jesus Christ never did anything wrong, yet, people hated Him enough to crucify Him. Jesus said that the world hated Him because He told that the world's ways were evil, speaking about our common "self-righteousness, our pride, our hatred, our sexual immorality" and people who heard this, were so upset they wanted to kill Jesus. It's was "these sins" that make us unclean. The very sins we all try to justify by saying "Well, it's not that bad" or "it really wasn't my fault" and we have lots of these kinds of reasons for trying to justify our own sins. But - when it's not man who is accusing us but God, who sees our hearts and minds and knows our true motives, who has a written record against us, what do we do?

Can a man justify himself before God? Can a man say "God, my hands and my heart is pure?" We might try to "be good" and "make positive changes" but what about our past record? Do our good works, pay for, for "justify" us? The Bible says "no".

'yet we know that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ. Even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, rather than by the works of the law. For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.'Galatians 2:16

This is good news.

You can't say "magic prayers" to make you "clean before God"

You can't chant or say "words" to make you justified before God.

What makes you justified and clean and forgiven is this - Faith in Jesus Christ

That is all.

Tell God that you want to trust in Him. You can say a prayer from your deep heart conviction that you trust that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, that you are sorry and confess your sins to God, and want to turn from them, and want to live for Jesus Christ now.

Just a simple prayer and God will keep His promise.

do not be deceived.

We can't trick God or somehow think "I did this" so God owes me that. No.

We are saved by God's kindness and mercy and truly knows who is genuine and there will be a change in your walk of like. There will be changes in your heart.

The Christian is not a "merely show of trying to look good". No way.

The Christian is one who wants to seek God, wants to live holy, wants to make God happy, wants to surrender his/her own life to God, and wants to give his/her body as a living sacrifice to God, wants to self-control, wants to live righteousness, according to what the Bible says.

When you and I and we simply search for God, by prayers, and reading the Word of God, the Holy Bible, we will find God and what God wants for us to do.

We all know basic truth that "God wants us to live right and good lives" and the Holy Bible is our instruction manual for this.

We can see the faith of others who lived before us. We can see the destiny of the good and the bad.

The good are those who accept God's way.

The bad are those who reject God's way for their own ways.

You have to choose who is your master now. You or God. There is no middle choice.

I'm not talking about "God, can I just grape jam or strawberry jam" but "God, what do you want me to do? God, please show me how to please You" and God will use your willingness and give you what you need. Pray for wisdom and understand. See the books for Proverbs for this. See how to pray from what Jesus taught his disciples

'“Therefore pray in this manner: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.' Matthew 6:9-13
